This bedroom was made to fit the client's colorful personality in every way. She requested bold colors combined with modern luxurious elements. We used this vibrant teal paint color combined with black and white stripped accent wall. With waterviews of New York City, we decided to keep the window treatments simple in order to appreciate the views. The plush velvet headboard is meant to blend into the wall contrasting with simple white bedding and fur blanket. The warm tones in the ethnic accent pillows and rug are opposite on the color wheel from the moody blues, delivering the pop intended. . The mismatched spike lamps and rose gold tables add the edgy unexpected element while the abstract artwork is subtle and soft. Opposite of the bed sits a gold and mirrored vanity table that doubles as a desk. Adding a gorgeous agate knob from anthropologie elevates this desk and gives it personality.
