Growing up and traveling throughout Europe during my early childhood as well as taking the leap over the Atlantic to begin a new life in the land of opportunity, has truly shaped the person and designer I am today. I continuously experience the lifestyles of many cultures through my travels, soaking in the way of life, architecture and history of the places and people I visit. I can relate to all walks of life, a skill I transfer into the relationships I build with my clients. A great designer starts the design process by first understanding a client's vision and then using the tools developed along with meraki to bring the 3d puzzle to life.
Interior design has been a childhood passion of mine since I can remember building model home from Styrofoam packaging on Christmas. After heavily involving myself in the arts program throughout my school life, I continued my education at ASU in business and design. As an assistant designer at the age of 18, I also began my "real world knowledge", which eventually led me to an architectural firm in Brooklyn. There I honed my skills in the technical side of commercial building design; working on several projects involving new developments, interiors, exteriors and historic preservation & restoration. After an amazing experience that no book could teach, I progressed to high-end residential design. I became the lead designer of a prestigious design firm in the North Shore of LI, building and designing luxury homes. I have been involved in every step of building a home, from the beginning of construction, down to the final details of pillow trimmings. Naturally the next step was to take all of my knowledge and growth over the past 18 years in this industry and embark on my own, to create my own design legacy. My goal was to establish a design firm that was afluent in commercial and residential projects. I am thankful to share my meraki with my clients and create a space for them to love and call their own.
